    Red Cards, fair?

I think these two incidents are the perfect examples of what the sin bin was brought in for.

Has anyone covered any games in this league ? I know its 4x20 minute quarters but any other rules/laws that might catch me out. Do they have sin bin rules ?

    Difficult match

Im with the "ignore it" crowd. Not a lot to gain from giving another booking to his side.

2 match incidents - Penalty for a high foot and low head and confrontation from a sub off the pitch

How would you do deal with say all the subs from both sides steaming on to the field of play (could well happen) If you dish out a yellow for original foul, yellow each for the players who have started the mass con, then 7/8 yellows for the players entering the FOP You'll be told you've lost...

    GK injury

You done the right thing, imagine the chaos if a goal was scored with the keeper injured.

Looking for advice on dealing with irate coaches

Ha Ha great last line. As im older than a lot of refs i see (only 44 like) i think i know how to handle the situations more, i do fear for the young refs who have to put up with these coaches but at least know you have the cards to make it easier. As stated above if its OTT and hes sent off...

    Deflected back to the kicker.

Totally agree with Peter on this one, no way am i punishing the attacking player for a double touch. Any sort of play stopped in the penalty area always results in the ball going back to the defending goalkeeper now (i think) no matter who has the ball before the stoppage.

    Handball (or not) ?

Obviously a you had to be there moment but although hes not made himself naturally bigger surely the natural stance for your arms is by your side not tucked into your chest, it would make more sense for the defender to chest the ball depending on the force its been hit at. If it is hand ball...

    Villa v Blades

For me its DGSO but without the Obvious, enough doubt personally.

Thoughts on the red card? I'm saying no red card. Not in control if ball and distance from goal is enough doubt.

Open Age This will be your last game ref

I just think it would help you through the game, there might be certain decisions that you might normally let go that you all of a sudden have to pull up. Stuff like a base layer, sock tape, player leaving the FOP for a quick drink.

    Rangers vs Dundee Utd

Comparing the two tackles. I think the original one certainly could be a yellow for reckless, i can also see why nothing would be given at all and i can see an argument for a red card although that wouldnt be my decision. The second one for me very different, thats clearly excessive force for me.

Just out of interest does any of you who are being assessed mention this to the teams pre match ?

    Liverpool HB-PK (v Leeds)

His arm is clearly in a position making himself bigger, i dont think thats up for debate, its the fact is to how the deflection changes things.

    QFK?

Are people actually going to chalk this goal off ? Im giving that all day, my take on quick free kicks is fine if you do it right away within a second or two but if you haven't done it by then its on the whistle.
