Yellow card for SPA (and red card for DOGSO) still possible after advantage?

No I'm not wrong. The offence you have played advantage on is the foul, not the fact that they have committed SPA or DOGSO - that only results from stopping play, so therefore it does not apply.

Indirect Free Kick Handled on Goal Line

Think of it like this.. Defender deliberately handles the ball and it goes in, goal and yellow card. Defender deliberately handles the ball, it doesn't go in.. Because it has touched another player (the deliberate handball), a goal can now be scored, but it wasn't, because he stopped the ball...

Yellow card for SPA (and red card for DOGSO) still possible after advantage?

If you play advantage, you cannot caution for SPA or send off for DOGSO. By playing advantage, you're saying there is still a promising attack or goal scoring opportunity. No you can't.

    AR offside positioning and flagging

Follow the ball, if the player decides he isn't going for that ball and doesn't interfere, then you're now in the wrong position.

    HAL - dive vs foul

Can't believe the FFA has said it should have been DOGSO. Simulation all the way.

Two yellow cards in the same phase of play?

If you're playing advantage, then you cannot caution the player for breaking up a promising attack/preventing opponent from gaining an advantageous position by holding, because by playing advantage you're saying that there is still a promising attack. Advantage well played, second foul occurs...

    No card match?

If that match isn't sanctioned by FW then you can't wear your FW gear, buy some different referee kits from a referee shop if you want to referee unsanctioned matches :P The reason behind not being allowed to wear your FW kit for unsanctioned matches is because then you're representing Football...

    No card match?

If it isn't sanctioned by FW, then you shouldn't be wearing your FW gear. If thats the case then no you cannot get in trouble. If, however, you are wearing your FW gear when you aren't meant to be, then yes you will get in trouble.

Man City vs Everton (CO Cup)

All markings are part of the area in which they enclose. If they ball is overhanging the arc, its inside the arc. If the ball is overhanging the penalty area, it is in the penalty area.

Player enters field to stop ball

Player who was off the pitch injured has just been substituted yet is still behind the goal making his way toward the bench. Striker gets past the keeper and passes the ball toward the goal, substituted player steps onto the FOP and clears the ball off the line. Are you still only giving a...

Player enters field to stop ball

Do the laws not state that you can caution a player/substitute for anything that is not in the LOTG that you deem to be unsporting behavior? This would be one of those situations. Double caution, gone.

    I keep forgetting ...

Not so bad at this when it's just one person, but when more players get involved, I completely forget who it is I'm booking. Also, pretty terrible at remembering the player after playing an advantage. Ball will go out of play and I'm looking around for someone to caution. Probably my proudest...

    keeper in a cap

GKs can wear a cap because it is not dangerous to other players, 99% of the time they're in their own goal area and are challenging with their hands, not their heads. When an outfield player is wearing a cap it is considered dangerous because he is more likely to challenge with his head than a...

Player entering the FOP without permission

A cannot be a red card for DOGSO, no foul has occurred. Double yellow though, most definitely.

    What happens here?

The answer lies in the way the LOTG are written. "A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the following seven offences: * denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a...

How To Avoid Being The Fly On The Wall?

Here in Australia (On the west coast atleast) for amateurs and juniors we get paid cash before the game starts (no payment no game, simples). When refereeing state league or national premier league, we are paid by the governing body, who is paid by the clubs.

    Assistant Referee Flags

Here in Western Australia, everyone brings their flags, we use whoever has the best set (only with NARs of course)

    Penalty claim: Newcastle v Southampton

If you have time to bring your hands up to protect your face, then you have enough time to move your face out of the way. Handball for me.

    Few incidents

Football West :) The AR was flagging for a foul, he's inexperienced though and flagged with the wrong hand and didn't complete the signal. When we are flagging for a foul we always make sure the flag goes up in the same hand that we're going to be using to show the direction of the free kick...

    Few incidents

Red was for OFFINABUS. Two yellows were for breaking up promising attacks, third was for delaying the restart. And I'm in Australia, I definitely missed the shoulder charge, hold my hand up for that one. About getting too close to my ARs, both ARs were relatively new and inexperienced so didn't...
