    Lincoln v Wycombe

Isn't 1 concussion in 22 years reason to stop the game? Just in case. Do you really want to be saying to the parents, 'well it's only happened before once in 22 years and I thought he wasn't really injured at the time?'.

    Make a decision

The law appears ambiguous in this situation. However I feel it's natural justice that the non handball by the defender is where the attack phase stops. The handball can't be carried over. A new phase starts as the defender kicks the ball forward and the handball is irrelevant at that point...

    Lifting ball with both feet

Thanks. He deliberately trapped the ball and made 2 x 180 degree movements. I gave IFK but for the wrong reason.

    Lifting ball with both feet

Some advice please. A player who is on the ground near the corner flag, lifts the ball between his feet and swivels in his backside to move the ball 180 degrees. In the back of my mind I seem to remember that's obstruction but then you can lift the ball with both feet for a free kick. Looking...

    Friendly Grealishimulation

Look at this another way. The referee saw a dive. If he saw a handball or a trip, his reaction would be the same and it would be a quick check to see if there was an advantage to the non offending team. In this case there was clearly no advantage to the non offending team which is why he blew as...

    Friendly Grealishimulation

I can't believe that no one has backed our colleague's decision by saying that from his angle it looked like a dive, which is why he gave it. He didn't have all these other angles to look at. Grealish also wraps his foot behind Zaha's to try and make it look like a foul.

At what age level do you start calling foul throws?

You lot go and play your own premiership game then. If you can't see the problem, you are the problem.

At what age level do you start calling foul throws?

You missed the one about just 'making stuff up'. Some of your comments disturbingly fall into that category. The LOTG are there for a reason. Not for you to make stuff up.

At what age level do you start calling foul throws?

What, for suggesting the LOTG are upheld? Very much called for I think. What else do you let go? That little pull on the shirt? That 2 footed lunge because he didn't really mean it? Refs who don't, make it worse for the rest. I suggest you call a foul throw accordingly and educate the players as...

At what age level do you start calling foul throws?

Have you ever thought that you might be part of the reason why so many referees get abused? I suggest you follow the LOTG. That is your role in the beautiful game.

What other LOTG don't you bother about?

At what age level do you start calling foul throws?

The FA Guidance on this has a couple of attempts for u8 and u9 and then an underarm throw. IIRC u10 and u11 non-competitive gives 2 attempts by the same player and then goes to the oppo. All about educating the players. From then, u11 competitive games and all u12 and above are only one...

Junior/Youth Coach Takes Players off Pitch due to health and safety

I assume bad publicity isn't something the FA wants. The Peterborough incident mentioned on another thread recently was wrong for various reasons but did highlight the dissent issue. The Jersey refs striking will have an impact. I wonder if a local journalist could stir the pot a little. Racism...

Junior/Youth Coach Takes Players off Pitch due to health and safety

I'm not sure that is what he's there for. His view is to put it all through the local FA. That wasn't part of my remit when I was ra sec 25 years ago.

Junior/Youth Coach Takes Players off Pitch due to health and safety

Nearly two weeks on, and I know that the referee submitted a report to the FAs, league etc specifically stating OFFINABUS of the coach and the fact that the ref would have abandoned the game had the other coach not taken his team off the pitch and forfeited the game (due to the types of...

    Really!

There's a ref in a local league called Mr ****ling. I've often wondered if he'd ever been carded or if he's carded anyone for taking the mic.
