Sat in my front room, wind is howling like hell and its pouring down out there.... as much as i wanted a game today.... glad i'm sat here in the warm. Out of the 50+ games that were due to be played today only 8 (private pitches) are going ahead.

It doesn't..... just stating my position in accepting games whereupon if its not sanctioned with my FA i'm not refereeing it.....

That's his decision and i respect that..... but its the way i conduct my games....

Me personally... i would not referee any match if i were not able to submit any cautions/ sendings off. Prevention is better than cure.

Not surprised that both my matches have been postponed this weekend as the lurvely councils have cancelled all football on their pitches..:-(

My game Saturday is on same park pitch as last week which i declared just fit to play on. After all this weather since i am quite sure it will not be playable. Waiting on League website tomorrow to see if councils declare their pitches playable or not , not looking good at the moment as it was...

At an U18 match Sunday and after a goal was scored a player took the centre kick i heard "Hey ! Ref I thought he could only kick the ball backwards?" After taking a breath (sarcastically) i said " The law was amended last year, wasn't you told then? " He said with a very puzzled look "Um No"...

Same here, message on county website saying councils(3 within area bordering each other) allowing games, but county saying subject to referee inspection. I've been told councils blanket ban games not just for the condition of pitches but to prevent too much damage done to them.

Death threat ? i would have abandoned the game.............. i cautioned 3 players today for dissent..... i do not put up with any abuse , told all three of them any more directed at me and they will be sent off done the job nothing from them the rest of the game and the rest of the players know...

Well there's nothing but fog around and to cap it all its raining. Get to the pitch(in a park some 10 miles away) and nothing but fog but its not raining i have arrived 45 minutes before K.O. And i've got a long walk from car park to the changing rooms and its really foggy . Get to the pitch and...

Me too, got one this Sunday been to ground before prone to flooding, so hope rain stays away............. Just got another email have match Saturday as well......
