Couldn't wait to see the mental gymnastics performed to vindicate Sir Michael.
The usual suspects didn't disappoint.
I look forward to 3 red cars every single game now this is deemed a red. :redcard:
I am surprised to find 80% agree with me that it's a penalty considering when David Luiz nearly decapitated Raul Jiminez in 2020 with a flying headbutt noone on here though it was anything more than a clash of heads.
The sound is a fair point.
But that pic shows his left leg is tucked in and a frame earlier (as this pic is post contact) it was planted on the ground.
This may still be SFP but it is not a "2 footed" challenge.
I've no problem with a red card.
But if he was actually trying to elbow him his spatial orientation needs looking at by a doctor.
He either thinks better of it or was trying to intimidate his opponent.
He's very lucky anyway and would be walking if I was ref.
Fair point on first paragraph.
But my work requires me to be sobre during working hours. If I want to arrange the biggest bender on my (personal) phone then I see nothing in the work D&A policy that says I can't.
In fact have we actually go the PGMOL D&A policy?
For the record I don't partake...
At this
Honestly, beside the drug use I don't see the issue.
If he's have been making plans to go out for beers would this even register?
Feels like a bit of a pile-on at this point. The Sun better have their ducks in a row or DC is getting £££.
Klopp is a nasty piece of work.
I don't think any Liverpool fans are going around thinking any referee doesn't think he is a c**t.
As long as they're reffed the same they don't care.
I'd take horrible Klopp over the damp squib Ten Haag an my club any day.
Christ, referees are terrified of saying no to Michael Oliver aren't they.
That was hard to listen to. Never heard a referee so clearly not want to give a penalty in my life.
I'd just like to empathize the man has not said anything against Liverpool other than they were "sh*t" on the day. Absolutely nothing was said that shows any bias against them.
Sadly, I'll no doubt be hearing about this from supporters of said club for the next 20 years.
Being recorded by someone else when you're wasted is something I can sympathise with.
However, recording yourself doing coke and sending it to anyone (when you're a public figure) is so stupid that I really am torn as to whether this is him. Could he be THAT stupid?
