I've not seen the handball decision. However, I disagree with your point there Freethinker. The penalty in the Merseyside derby was a penalty. It's not the biggest push in the world but if you put your arms on the back like that, the referee is bound to give a penalty, and he was correct to do so.

I've misread it, I never saw it say as AR. Looks like the players who say I'm blind may be correct :( As AR I'll go nowhere near it unless it goes straight to me.

Spirit of the game, I'd just do it. Technically we shouldn't do it but we enjoy football just as much as the players so it may be beneficial to add the human element to match officials.

The theory behind it is massively flawed. If Tottenham's players committed red card offences, and Mr Clattenburg dismissed them nobody would say a word. Same applies with Chelsea - they were no angels themselves with their crybaby antics of remonstrating with the referee to send off players...
