    FA Vase

A goalkeeper is taking part in the kicks by being stood in the goal to face them - a penalty cannot be taken unless there is a goalkeeper there.

    PSV v Napoli OFFINABUS

You can actually claim wrongful dismissal for OFFINABUS at Step 4 and above! 😂

    FA Vase

I'm not a fan of Holker's statement where they are trying to absolve themselves of all blame by claiming the error is *solely* down to the referee. It's just as much their error as it is the referee's - ignorance of the laws isn't a reasonable excuse.

    FA Vase

They had already nominated the goalkeeper to be the player excluded, and he took part. Difficult to say it hasn't impacted it! I'll be honest, anyone getting to L4 shouldn't be getting caught out on something as basic as this. Even worse, it appears both the ARs are former L4s too - how none of...

    Olympiacos Second Yellow

Obviously a bad decision, but let's make sure we're pointing the finger of blame in the right direction here - the cheating player. He deserves a retrospective suspension.

    4 substitute opportunities

Up to and including Step 2 there is no limit in terms of sub opportunities. I don't know about Step 1.

    Send off before kick off

This could be taken advantage of with a sin bin prior to kick-off - although if a referee sin bins someone before the match has even started and then fails to notice they've snuck one of the subs on so that they're still starting with 11, then god help us all 🤣

    Send off before kick off

Competition rules. LotG only requires the names of the substitutes to be given prior to the start of the match.

Ref halts game for 10 mins for spectator abuse to assistant

In isolation, this seems like an overreaction to a fairly mild insult. Maybe there had been previous abuse from the spectator(s) and this was the straw that broke the camel's back? I wouldn't be looking to have a spectator removed from the ground unless it was a) persistent to the point where...

    Sin bins and half time...

Pitch being playable (or not), pitch markings, ball flat/too hard, an argument about the competition rules, a decision from a previous game you refereed that player... I'm sure there must be a few more :D

Second yellow even though he got the ball

Be careful with your terminology when explaining decisions - reckless would be a yellow, endangering the opponent would be a red.

    Celtic vs Braga

Definitely the AR telling the referee at 51:03 that it's handball, and if you turn the volume on that video up you can hear the whistle at 51:07. Referee has been caught flat-footed and out of position, AR has guessed the 'handball' from 50 yards away and got it wrong, and VAR has somehow...

    Junior/Youth witnessed this

There's nothing in law to say that you can't give further reds after abandoning the game though, right? If it were 11 a side and I had eight reds to give, I wouldn't let three of them get away without the fine and suspension just because I'd happened to have already sent off five of their teammates!

    Centre Circle

Perhaps your time and effort would be better spent putting together some more constructive and less insulting feedback to provide directly to Centre Circle, rather than posting this here?

    Lightning

Good luck! Reminds me of a WNL game I reffed a few years ago... one of my ARs had been doing a Sunday League game in the morning about 45 mins away, which ended up finishing late due to a serious injury - he arrived at 1:57 for a 2pm ko 😅

I hope that's when you were planning on getting there rather than kick-off time - could be struggling otherwise 😬😅

Whatever time the pitch is booked for this afternoon? 😝

When does an injured player have to leave the field?

Given that it says collide, I would say they both need to leave. I assume the exception requiring it to be a collision is to stop players pretending to need treatment if one of their teammates needs treatment, so that the teammate wouldn't need to leave the field.

When does an injured player have to leave the field?

However, whether the player receives treatment is irrelevant: The moment the referee calls medical staff on, the player must leave (except for the circumstances stated otherwise in the LotG)
