well he was lucky then that I did grit my teeth if that been any other occasion I'd told him where to go shove the flag and if that been a league game that referee would of lost club marks on his application of law
@GraemeS I'm afraid I disagree with you if you had of seen the way he had done it you would of agreed with my point of you I'll respect a referee for making a mistake but the way he overruled me yesterday yes I can understand the overrule but Not being rude
This is reason
1. I've put my flag...
I'm a West Midlands referee so my course taught us to allow club linos to do offsides but in my reasoning I'll only wave a club Lino down if it has gone through to the keeper gone out for a goal kick or there is a defianate advantage
Me as a fellow referee don't usually have a moan about a referee but today I make an obsession I was running line when ball was played forward now me being a referee myself this season I have never cheated for my team or anything of the sort the player standing in that position receives the ball...
As already said use the stepped approach then if he hasn't shut up on the 3rd after getting the captain caution him for dissent but don't forget you could even go straight to cards depending on what was said
In adult football I just let them take it far back youth football when there is a barrier you can also let them take behind the barrier if they want to take a quick one
There wasn't just me who did not get promoted but I just find it dishonest especially if clubs most times anyway don't have a clue themselves and mark you down for getting something right in law
I think I had 3 games where it effected my club marks 1st even though I was being observed that game I gave a penalty that I shouldn't of second was when I abandoned a game after a spectator refused to leave the vacinity of the field of play 3rd was when on purpose i signalled for free kick...
We deliberated after the match like should of it been red where the referee stuck or should of it been yellow the referee now thinks it should of been just a yellow he now thinks that but now believes what done is done
