Just ordered the Storm All Weather Safety Whistle after reading some reviews.
Let's see if that pesky striker still claims he didn't hear my whistle...
A few guys I know have tried these and complain that the flags are too big and the button too sensitive. Very easy for the AR to accidentally set the buzzer off while moving.
Difficult to get hold of but if you can then Touchline are the way to go.
Didn't watch the game, was it picked up on field or by the VAR?
LOTG simply state that if a team-mate if the goalkeeper offends and the ball doesn't enter the goal then the oenalty is retaken.
VAR protocols don't change the laws of the game, only what they are and aren't authorised to...
In law, it makes no difference if that player gets involved in clearing the ball or not. May well be a consideration on whether we penalise them in practice but in law the offence has already happened long before he clears the ball.
I'd assume it's the Greek player a yard inside the box right in front of the referee. The French player may also be on the line of the penalty area but the Greek player's infringement is clear.
It was saved by the keeper so a retake is correct.
My plan is to get a few of the new badges from Rob Lindsay (he reckons he'll have them ready if a week or so) and see how well it applies over the top of the FAMOA badge.
Anyone ever tried to apply a DIY badge over the top of another heat applied badge?
Email sent asking for clarification.
1 shirt to cover mid week and weekend games at the start if the season won't fare well. Gonna need to use my spare!
Hopefully the new badge is big enough to cover the FAMOA badge on my 6 month old top!
Watching more replays I'm convinced that Grealish's arms come back up as a natural action to balance in anticipation of landing.
Whilst I agree his arm goes down and then back up but I still think it's a natural action of someone trying to keep their balance as they twist and land.
