Its all down to the competition rules, but I'd be surprised if this has already been decided as I would have thought that the league would have written to both clubs and the ref for their observations and then this discussion at the next league meeting before a decision was made.
Just seen on motd2, for me nailed on pen made no effort to get his leg out of the way.
Leicester pen shout not given was good call & for me wasn't a dive either.
Two yellows for Simpson was both spot on.
Drinkwater was very luck not to be sent off.
I thought this but the video evidence is no longer mandatory, but appeal has to be in by 5pm Tuesday if Saturday/Sunday match & fee & all evidence in by Thursday.
It maybe that like most counties yours has the policy of not giving someone a county cup final appointment two years in a row, thus giving more refs the chance of experiencing a final.

As long as he's named as a sub then there's no issue.
This reminds me of a question I had on a promotion exam a few years ago where a player has been sent off from the game on another pitch and then wants to come on as a sub in the game you're refereeing.
Imo red was spot on studs up and dangerous, Defoe was offside for his 1st but not for 2nd & 3rd & the Swansea offside is the most obvious one you're likely to see
