    The difference is..............

I find ladies/girls football to be so much easier to referee and whilst we have male coaches who give it loud when told to stop they do cos the girls wont tolerate it either.

    Racism/abuse from spectators

Happened to me earlier in the season, player went ballistic because of it and their manager informed me that something was said, I said I would report. I did the Association didn't want to know as I hadn't heard it directly....would still report it helps association build a picture of teams.

    Saudi Arabia Team!

It's a personal choice and shouldn't be imposed on anyone. I am sure there are millions of people who didn't observe it earlier in the week and nothing is being said. When the home nations wanted to wear poppies they were told they couldn't etc etc etc this is just to stoke anti Islamic views...

When to allow a quick free kick

If you gave a caution to a player it was hardly a quick one? Rather a normal one? A quick one I allow provided I don't have to talk to the player and can see it being taken, include it in my pre match and advice teams unless I hold my whistle in the air and clearly state on the whistle they can...

    Blood subsitutions

Exactly @Brian Hamilton...I also believe was it Matt Dawson a few years ago used a capsule or nicked the inside of his mouth (physio) during a game to get a fresh sub on. Agree in the case where there is a blood injury player has to remain of for a minimum time period before being allowed on to...

    Blood subsitutions

Would that not be the same for any injury then not just blood? We could get into the scenario of WWE and people taking the wee capsules onto the pitch so they could say they were bleeding to be taken off especially after all the subs have been used? Rugby a different game altogether they use...

    Football Boots with removable studs

I wear dimples on 3/4g pitches and on most grass pitches when the weather is wetter and pitches heavier I switch to mouldies never had a problem.

    Liverpool v Soton

Thought Madley had an absolute mare tbh don't like him as a referee and yesterday reinforced that thinking.

    another lesson learned

Have to say prefer to give a bad offside decision than a bad goal decision, you also get to know the players how quick they are do they play of the last man etc and experience lets you get into the best areas also if you see the hoof coming a quick look usually tells you. Only ever made one bad...

    another lesson learned

You will be surprised how much better your game gets...you have to be sharper to make the decision and your positioning improves as well, ok the 50-50 ones you make a judgement call but 99% are clear cut! No arguments about the lino being a homer either!

@richard ramjane simple instruction to CAR - ball in out direction, don't be annoyed if I overrule you it simply means I saw something you didn't, thank you - nothing else makes life so much easier.
