    Reentering play

Graeme do you wave the thrower back on? No he retrieved the ball the other team should have been ready when the ball was in the throwers hand, no obligation to wait. Different if a defender retrieving the ball as you may have match control issues there but for an attacking team taking a throw in...

    Law 12

Agree with Graeme here player leaves field of play first so IFK, but doesn't look right giving a red followed by an IDF. Maybe @Brian Hamilton could give us his expectation of sanctions in this scenario as an assessor?

    FA Apology! Yeh right!

Knock yourself out, but don't try and drag others into it, you criticise away and if anyone is interested then I am sure they will pick you up. However you did suggest everyone else was silent because they were FA fan boys not because they are intelligent human beings who don't really care...

    FA Apology! Yeh right!

@Sheffields Finest...you obviously have a gripe with the FA, I don't understand why you just don't leave refereeing so you can pursue your agenda whatever it is, if they annoy you that much? Personally, I couldn't care less what they do as long as it doesn't affect my family or myself. The...

    FA Apology! Yeh right!

@Sheffields Finest there is no disputing the whole affair was mismanaged and that there are a number of issues which need to be addressed within the organisation, no more than we could claim any association or indeed UEFA or FIFA themselves. Maybe the silence is because this is a referee's...

Keeper Dropping and Picking up the Ball

I would probably have gone it was a parry and no control in that situation, they pat it down, but have no control of where it will land etc....I would suggest control is when the ball is stationery at some point i.e. he caught it but 'let' it drop rather than an action of the hand where it could...

Keeper Dropping and Picking up the Ball

    Assistant Referees

Think the worst I was involved in was a 80% sprint to the halfway line five second rest, then doing it twice..then three time up to five then down from five..was near buggered before the match kicked off! :grumpy:

a parent posting about me on facebook

There are rules regarding social media and a parents guide, I would send it to the appropriate disciplinary committee. As for giving a yellow instead of a red, I won't open that debate...maybe a take him off and he plays no further part. Get a copy of the competition rules for the age group...

    Junior/Youth Backpass?

Just done one of the LOTG quizzes there and the scenario was similar....apparently it is a backpass and should be penalised?

    Bloody Players

I thought that is why you were referring to it and I don't do research for others if you make errors in your statements it is you who looks foolish not me. I merely said that precedents can be wrong in law..as proved Sulley wasn't booked hence the precedent is set!
