    Ref: Stories from the weekend

Not sure the wee fella had a clue what he was being asked to do, but was a nice touch when the ref went over and thanked him! I had my son do it for me at a kids game a few years ago and split the fee with him!

    Ref: Stories from the weekend

I did wonder about the level 4/5 girl and the assistants she had? The welsh guy came across well and I was shocked by how much referees talk to the players constantly? Also, some of the man handling incidents with people thrown to the card and a quick behave yourself :wall::wall::wall::redcard:

    Ref: Stories from the weekend

I watched this last night and was horrified at the standard a two footed challenge with the guy clearly of his feet, deemed 'reckless' by the referee receives a yellow card....referee talks about abuse received yellow card? Think changes needed to be made in some of the leagues over there or the...

    2017/18 Law changes

I always ask anyway just in case, issued a yellow card to a sub for entering the fop without permission at half time, no one had told me and I probably wouldn't have noticed until I had to speak to him (he was being a dxck), was harsh but the manager was told quite clearly it was his fault as he...

    Corner Kick Taken With Knee

Liking that....Moan U or Cheatsea would never win a game...however I would be broke, all those phone calls.

    It could be worse ...

As a football and rugby referee I find the simplicity of football laws to be adequate...rugby ones are mad! As for golf :yawn: the rules that is not the actual game, well when the Norn Iron major winners are playing! C'mon Rory, Darren and Graeme!!!

    Corner Kick Taken With Knee

And every other match incident just to be sure! In fact let's wait for a few days review the match and then go back and play it, until we get the right result. Jose @ Moan Utd will be pleased we go back to Ibra's disallowed goal and start from the equaliser.

@Yampy I agree with @GraemeS on this one, if it wasn't spotted by the other player who has to sign the scorecard then she shouldn't be penalised, just because it happened to be when the TV cameras were on her doesn't mean others don't do it! I have seen plenty of times the ball placed slightly...

    Open Age Cup Final upcoming

@GraemeS I appreciate what you are saying but I have given blatant penalties when no one has appealed because I have seen it and not them, pulling, pushing, handball and trips... I had my whistle blown and the usual no one appealed ref....I still saw it and gave it! Just suggest that wording...

This topic has been discussed many times and well different counties/countries pay different amounts it simple. Ross asked you to open a new thread as people weren't looking at the previous thread anymore simple...not weird just common sense, if you want to start a debate discussion!

 so what you are saying is the girl made a mistake at the time her playing partner didn't pick up on it, but some a-hole with nothing better to do complained without actually knowing if she had declared it or not and she is then embarrassed by an official approaching her mid game to say oi...

    Ross Barkley

Barclay and Williams should have been warming the bath water! How Barkley continues to get away with these in derby matches is beyond me?
