    Game Called Off !!

Its all down to the competition rules, but I'd be surprised if this has already been decided as I would have thought that the league would have written to both clubs and the ref for their observations and then this discussion at the next league meeting before a decision was made.

    Arsenal v Leicester

So it's ok for him to leave his leg there even if it's going to trip an opponent

    Arsenal v Leicester

Just seen on motd2, for me nailed on pen made no effort to get his leg out of the way. Leicester pen shout not given was good call & for me wasn't a dive either. Two yellows for Simpson was both spot on. Drinkwater was very luck not to be sent off.

How/why did you get in to refereeing?

Love football absolutely awful player but wanted to be involved. I wasn't really interested in coaching, so decided on refereeing my PE teacher saw an ad in the local paper for the next course and gave me the details.

    Winter Break

It's not always the players but where I am there are numerous teams that share facilities with cricket teams and the pitches overlapping with the cricket being the landlord or the councils setting a date the pitches are available from and not budging from it

1 player, 2 games same time

As long as he's named as a sub then there's no issue. This reminds me of a question I had on a promotion exam a few years ago where a player has been sent off from the game on another pitch and then wants to come on as a sub in the game you're refereeing.

    Swansea v Sunderland

Really I would expect you to get a lot of grief because no one will be expecting it

    Swansea v Sunderland

Imo red was spot on studs up and dangerous, Defoe was offside for his 1st but not for 2nd & 3rd & the Swansea offside is the most obvious one you're likely to see
