I must say this is why I like the valkeen, soooo easy to vary the tones etc
Quite sensitive tho so occasionally I start a half like I'm giving a last minute penalty
8-0 away win in a regional ladies game for me today.
Three yellows so not totally boring, although I was a bit of a ******* giving the first one for delaying the restart. Slightly forgot it wasn’t the national league!
But it was also the most well spirited and enjoyable match to referee...
Always easier to just wave away than actually book someone - I find spotting the intent is the hardest part. No law against being soft is usually my defence when someone asks if it was a dive!
I've worn glasses on:
- Sunday League men's
- Women's County
- Men's County
- Women's Regional
- Women's National league
I've only ever had one "comment" where a player, scoring a winner in the final game of their season to get promoted, made the glasses sign at me with her hands, she enjoyed...
I assume this was televised in some way!
A gillingham player has received a two game ban for SIMULATION?
Not sure if he was on a yellow but if not this would have been “just” a yellow if a sanction were given on the pitch. I don’t hate it - I’m just surprised.
Depends - if he’s parried it with his hands then sure but if he’s judged as in control of the ball and then has pushed it out (like rolling it out but he’s on the floor already) then it’s an IDFK
It depends
Is it a trip or a kick because your post says both?
If he pulls back and kicks the legs out from under someone you can sell a RC if it’s with excessive force.
A trip can be excessive force but very rarely - if it’s a trip this reads as careless or reckless.
I only took the morning U12 game because I am ref sec this year and our league has been cut from 12 to 3 referees from last season. Usually my wife vetoes it!
