    Player Name

it depends, is he stating fact? :p:cool: me personally, i'd go with a yellow for dissent ... its certainly not foul, Ior abusive - I wouldn't call it offensive, the only one for me that @Brian Hamilton very kindly posted for us all, is insulting - and as much as insulting is listed as a red...

    Need some opinions!

i was going to say similar things to @RefJef ! I think I great title would be - 'Referees: The most hated in football?' I would then also go to local Saturday and Sunday games and get some opinions of managers/coaches/spectators/players ... as Jef said, do a complete cross examination type...

Hiya @Tom Gibbins - Welcome, a fellow Essex ref, where about in Essex are you based? be good to sign you up to a RA Society. @A Freethinker has covered most things ... just to re-cap a few points: Smartly dressed - 95% of the games you are going to be covering will be park/council pitches and...

Open Age Had enough mid game and walked off

I personally think you shouldn't walk off a pitch unless threatened/assaulted ... my best action when everyone is getting to much, I blow for everything - slight clip? free kick, hit hand even though its by his side? free kick - slightest dissent? yellow card ... etc

Open Age My first red card...

Mine was a School semi final (I was only 16 myself) ... Away side 3-1 up, penalty - 60th minute (baring in mind only 40 mins each way) I give a penalty, purposely tripped an opponent, plenty of players to cover so not DOGSO, just a yellow for the trip - as I show the card he calls me a...
