    Burnley v Brentford

I appreciate that. But he must have known, with seconds to go, its going straight up the other end. Also, why are then Brentford throw ins always having to be taken in exact spot whilst opponents in same game get off.. thats my bug bear when it comes to restart inconsistencies.

    Burnley v Brentford

Just seen the extended highlight of the handball goal on Facebook. Throw in given that leads to the actual attack. I get its a "defensive" one and teams should be able to defend better from that far out but my complaint is that ever since (I think it was Arsenal, may have been Man Utd)...

    Threatened by spectator

Sounds to me you, personally, had a good game. I remember when Sin Bins came in on trial. Seemingly in a small number of leagues but one of those was the league I was doing when living in England. I thought, at first, it was a good idea. There were players who fully deserved it and got them...

    Maguire Cheating

It looks like he headed the ball on the bridge of his nose. That surely hurts.

    Burnley v Brentford

Can I point out that during those 5 minutes of VAR there were TWO checks going on. One for the handball, cleared within 3 minutes and a further minute or 2 on the melee that saw a substituted player for Brentford and a player, on the pitch i believe, for Burnley cautioned. They were checking for...

SkySports reporting of the proposed new IFAB laws

So like the ball in keepers hands then.

    Tottenham vs Arsenal

I appreciate his head might be turned compared to his body to see incident but his camera shows no foul. Just sees Gabriel already falling dramatically.

    Forest v Liverpool

I know of some summer tournaments where they want ARs on semi and finals for whatever reason. Sorry, but if you're getting decisions wrong on this size pitch you should not be near a final.

    Tactical Injury Breaks

Players leaving the field and taking their time really does annoy me. Some go to thank the officials, some stand and applaud the entire stadium, even if they're away team. They can thank them all at the end of the game.

    Forest v Liverpool

Gillett was very adamant on Saturday the precise location of throws. Did I not see on Wednesday the ref insist on Arsenal taking their last throw from exact spot and they refused to budge. Eventually they threw it backwards and he allowed it but then blew for full time.

    City v Newcastle

I've said this before about corners, even throws, on here in the past. Make the game having been restarted regardless of if the ball has been kicked when the ref blows his whistle. Should add, by doing this, any foul that happens, such as this, can then be penalised. Any offside, like this, can...

    Tactical Injury Breaks

Its becoming like certain Amarican sports, different playbooks, different set of players for different plays, time outs etc.

    Wolves v Arsenal

This is where im more leaning on. I've counted several times, even when I've gone to watch games live, and not once seen it acted on (except one PL game early this season).

    Wolves v Arsenal

When was the last time you saw a ref actually visibly count the 8 seconds by the way (with arm in the air)? Saw it a few times early on, penalised twice i think even if one of them the keeper was being tracked by a forward to delay his release. Yet ive counted (using the tv clock) 15 seconds...

    Tactical Injury Breaks

This is where, as its cooling breaks, there should be designated "drinks" area (shaded if it needs to be) where players go for that cool down in each corner of the pitch. No coaches, physios etc allowed. Just 11 outfield players. I remember teams abused this hugely during covid.

    Tactical Injury Breaks

When players, especially keepers it seems, go down injured the rest of the team seemingly go to "have a drink" and have new fresh tactics given to them - especially if losing. Highlighted in the wonens game again recently, do you think there should be a "boundary" that players can not go in and...

    ZRI v CP (ECL)

Europa Conference League match. Ref sent to monitor for handball offence against Palace. Ref ignores VAR recommendations and actually gives a foul against the home side. I wasn't convinced it hit a Palace hand/arm anyway, but the high foot can clearly be used as an argument for protection...

    Wolves v Arsenal

Think it may just be a Professional thing.

    Wolves v Arsenal

Maybe we should not allow subs to be made until the 30 seconds minimum of waiting time for injuries (or ball next out, whatever comes last) to be made. Teams will think twice about feigning injury if they can just replace to nullify the supposed injury like with Califiori coming on for Trossard...

    Penalty Kick Question
