Hi all, maybe a bit of a strange post but just wondered if anyone has had the same problem at all or can recommend something for me?
I have switched from using a full match pad to a match card and write on stickers on my cards, using primarily a click sharpie. I found this works best for me than faffing about with the match pad which was my go too as a new ref, having experimented with different setups. I've noticed more recently though especially the hot weather and some pitches even in early evening with the muggy weather that when i've pulled my match card/cards out to caution or write on that they're both quite sweaty?? As in the match card is now floppy (as they're made of card) and the sticker on my cards wont write with the sharpie.
I tend to have my yellow in left pocket, right in back, match card in top pocket in a card holder like the refstop one rather than on its own. No matter what order of pockets i've chosen the result is often the same, thankfully my game last night had NARs so my dodgy writing was easy to cross-check.
As for attire i wear the normal Nike dri-fit kit, on a personal note i have external trt treatment and a side effect of this is excessive perspiring so may just be something i have to deal with.
