Hello, been reffing for about a year now consistently just decided to invest in a valkeen of Amazon for £49.95, I have seen lots of replicas and I’ve got it in front of me, looks legit but is there anyone who can confirm that this is not a Chinese knockoff like some of the ones I’ve seen online, the price compared to other valkeens has made me sceptical.
Amazon Link
It has came in Japanese packing with all the thumb grips and when I scan the QR code on the box it does take me to the official molten website for the whistle, and it looks quality in person like how it’s meant to.

I have both a real and a ‘fake’ - it’s Not that easy to tell from the picture but it looks legit to me.

Molten make a budget version that sounds nearly exactly the same as the Valkeen.

Thanks for all the replies, I had a dolfin f but I believe I've lost it during a game as it fell off my clip. I have multiple Fox 40 variations however I don't like the sound as it isn't as crisp compared to other whistles in my opinion.

All the knock off Valkeens I’ve used from Temu, Amazon et al have sounded great. Each Xmas I’ll treat myself to 2/3 depending what postage deals are on, £25 or so.

Searching for “volleyball whistle” often gets you what you’re after.

OMG. As much as VB refs blow their whistle indoors and with almost everything they blow it for being obvious, why in the world would they want to use something as loud as a Valkeen?!?!?
