The Ref Stop
What about this challenge by Beto?

I am not a professional, so I wanted to get to know a more professional opinion about the incident from this game. To me it seems like a red, because Beto has gone in the challenge from behind with both feet off the ground, doesn't seem like he is control because of that, and neither is he anywhere near the ball. But I might be wrong, so I wanted to know what do people who know better think about this.

Refwatch are saying penalty and probably red card
I can’t even find a good angle to determine any contact on Gusto from Pickford, so its definitely not SFP personally, and I can’t really see any reason for VAR to ask Kavanagh to go to monitor. Gusto not complaining about challenge, of course don’t take that into consideration, but just isn’t enough for me

It's in the PA, so a review can start due to only a foul. I struggle to see how it's not a penalty and YC at least, awful lunge.

It’s a very unorthodox challenge to say the least.

I’d say caution is correct here. There isn’t too much force, contact is very low and he ends up being more side on than from behind (although that’s probably more by luck than anything).

Rightly or wrongly there seems to be an acceptance that keepers can throw themselves at a save regardless of the potential consequences. Pretty sure if that had been an outfield player there would have been a review.

Pickford's challenge should have gone to an on-field review. Penalty and caution at minimum.
Beto's I think should have been SFP for going completely in the air, lunge that endangers the opponent's safety.
