Goes down far too easy in 'the box'. Referee Thomas Bramall admirably blows his whistle and awards a free kick to Leicester City
Not one minute later, same player is Cautioned for clear Reckless Play
I thought, 'sh1t', he's off. But no, he hadn't been cautioned for Simulation
Naturally commentators blissfully unaware and may not even get a mention on MOTD later, but I'd be grateful if anyone can please tell me that an Elite Referee is not capable of such a completely unacceptable wrongdoing and that it was me who was somehow mistaken
A facile 4-0 win hinged on this KMI as it was 0-0 at the time. As 'dodgy' as the channel I watched the game on

Cop out then. It was clear Simulation. A scourge on the game and an absolute priority to eradicate
Better than being blatantly wrong in Law I suppose. The lesser of two evils

I'm not Ref bashing as such. But it would be unfathomable for a referee to reach the EPL and be guilty of such a crime
Thomas Bramall otherwise looks the part, which is my 'Number One Competency'. He remained adroitly anonymous in the game aside from this incident

The more serious offence is the one that requires a Caution. Why overcomplicate this. It was cheating. Punish the cheating. It's a scourge
Punishing HB is a cop out, if that is indeed what he did
 
They aren’t simultaneous, either— the simulation occurred first and is the only reason he is on the ground with the ball. ( I was pondering if “advantage could be a get out of jail card here, but no, I think even if he playyed advantage, the caution would be shown at the next stoppage. So if this, hypothetically, happened in the other PA, it could be a PK for handling, applying advantage to the simulation, but showing the caution for simulation after stopping play for the PK.)

Cucurella went down clutching his face as if he'd been snipered from the crowd.
He turned and fell over.
This stopped a promising attack for a late push for equaliser by Brentford.

Another Chelsea player went down earlier in game holding his head forcing the game to be stopped when no contact with his head was made by anyone.

Seems a lot of players are still trying to deceive referees even with VAR.
