Level 7 Referee
I was referee ın Turkey and ı believe system is more basic compared to UK. All games must process with ars and at least 2police officer presence referees have right to not to start the match without police. Also usually police and referres assigned to pitches on daily basis for example there is pitch and on that pitch there will be 5 games on saturday the local fa assinges 3 reffs and choose which refs be de middle and ar by looking their level and level of the match. That system contunies until the regional amateur league which is one step before proffesional league. Usually there is more than 1000+ game per month where i live and that system working wery well just wonder everyone opinions and how this type of system might use ın uk too.

Absolutely no way do we have enough police resources or referee resources to deal with that level of coverage.

Actually ı the refs ın Uk is lucky the match prices are lot higher than other countries in grassroots also beıng a ref lot easier i think more people will thnik about it you know how hard it is to operate without ars....

what do you think if fa decides to do something similar and create centralized ptiches so in one day multiple matches can happen and assigning ref will be easier rather than having more than enough fields

The vast majority of games in England have one referee (if they are lucky) and absolutely zero police officers.

I've experienced Turkish football though, albeit on the Turkish League in London, and I can certainly understand the need for a police presence. I wasn't even on the league panel, but when games had been abandoned or otherwise kicked off in the previous encounter they paid L3s and L4s a small fortune in the hope they would be able to keep a lid on it.

The FA don't run leagues in England, nor do County FAs, at grass roots each league is run by a panel of volunteers. Some leagues, like the Camden Sunday League and the Hackney & Leyton League, play all of their games at one venue (Hackney Marshes), but most are split across multiple venues.

true but actually ı have great hopes while reffing in England in terms of respect and less violence both verbal or pyhsical i was very very disappointed. I playedd almost 7 years amateur on 3 years on pro level. I believe being a referee is the best thing in footbal. Volunteering for abuse just because you love the game is just pure love

ooo thank you ı dıdnt know that back ın turkey every leagues must run by local fa even its an acamedy league. That is problaly why you need to buy your own gear Fa's dont give them to you cause in Turkey local Fa provide all clothing for you for free . Fun fact in Turkey it is mandatory to wear suit before game and shave your beard everyday.

As there aren't enough referee to cover the games as they are even if they centralised you still need a similar number, it not more, for the coverage. Not everyone wants to give up their whole day!
