Am I unlucky or a harsh twonk?

I’ve had two games, both senior, one Saturday league one Sunday league where one team has gotten 4 reds in one half this season

I can send the Saturday one in as that was filmed, but is this just me being young (lvl6 at 17) and harsh (neurodivergent, diagnosed) or am I getting unlucky with who I am getting

More details and or a link can be posted later

Sorry, but it's not clear from your post as to what the issue is. Have you been worried by getting the appointments? Have you found the matches difficult?
Any specific problems?
We are always happy to help but will need to understand what you are asking, please.

yeah without seeing (or being described) each incident, 4x reds in both games could be spot on.

that said, that many reds is definitely unusual...but cant draw any conclusions from it without more info

As others have said, need more detail on this and it probably falls into the YHTBT.

(If you have the video, think it would be an interesting watch and you'd certainly get some great feedback from this forum - if you're willing to share)

But I think any referee should be concerned if they have dismissed 4 players from one team in one half, and for this to happen again in a short period of time.

It probably depends what the dismissals are for. If they've gone round kicking lumps out of opponents then there's perhaps nothing different you could have done, if they are all for OFFINABUS or 2nd cautions for dissent there's perhaps a problem with your tolerance levels. We would really need a lot more information to offer any kind of advice.

Reading the title I think the OP ref has given 4 red cards in two games which is statistically too many. He feels that he may have been either harsh / card happy in these games or unlucky with his appointments getting ill disciplined teams.

@gingernut8931 It's hard to say if you are card happy without seeing the games and your refereeing, or at least reading a description. But if the cards were justified, I won't bring luck into it. You did what you had to do. If you had a difficult game, take the positives out of it. You learn a lot more in difficult games than in easy ones.

This is definitely one (or two?) where you'd have to be there to tell. I total 8 pens in 8 middles this season - definitely higher than usual. But, they were all nailed on and 4 came in one game. It could just be that teams are kicking lumps out of each other as others have said, or it could be something else. We would definitely need to know a bit more to be able to say really.

I read it that the OP is suggesting that on 2 separate occasions this season, one of the teams has received 4 red cards in one half of football. (8 reds altogether).

As said above, if they're a result of dissent and OFFINABUS, then maybe your tolerance levels are a little low, but teams have just lost their heads then maybe it's not your fault. Seems a little bit over the top though.
