The Ref Stop

Hi all,

The Ref Stop
Most referees purchase from The RefStop, they are run by referees and understand and tailor to referees’ needs. They are usually also the first to release new gear such as the training wear each season. However, they can be quite pricey, so some buy from sites like Newitts and Kitlocker who are much cheaper - but this comes without the option to add county badges so you may have to DIY with iron-on county/FA match official patches if that is what you are looking to do. There are many other sites as well such as A&H and Refstore but I would say A&H isn’t as popular as it used to be and is expensive and Refstore are Scotland-based so don’t offer many Nike products. You always have the option to purchase via the official county/FA referees store. Have a dig around and you should be able to find some bundles on certain websites to maximise savings, as stuff is expensive!

Have used all over the years for various bits and bobs and generally don’t have a preference, never been let down by any of them and all pleasant and helpful when it comes to enquiries. Just tend to have a peek at them when I’m replacing something and see who’s got what in stock and prices.

Will add that I quite like the Joma kit given that it’s half the price of “THE” other one. Similarly, whichever of those sites sell the write-on match cards that are in German for a third of the price of English language ones is a bargain.

I just recently bought a pair of Umpiro boots from OSI. The shipping is a bit of a nightmare but that's on Canadian customs, not on OSI. Still waiting for them to arrive, but I am very excited for them. The link to the product is here: https://officialsports.com/1714-umpiro-pro-referee-shoe/

I also recently ordered a whole bunch of miscellany from refstore.co.uk and I've found it to be extremely quick. Delivery of these products is expected today.
