I had a league secretary call me once the promotions came out to ask me to ref on his league.Hi, I have just found out that I am being promoted to level 6. Does much change and where should I expect/want to be an assistant Referee?
Thanks, that’s really helpful!I had a league secretary call me once the promotions came out to ask me to ref on his league.
It is where the team I had been refereeing promote to.
The fees and everything we're the same. Just slightly more driving and less availablity of games.
In terms of being an assistant on the higher leagues, obviously depends on where you live, might be worth touching bases with the RA, if there is a group chat etc. Someone should be able to hook you up with an application form.
Then I had to familiarise myself with MOAS.
Thanks, that’s really helpful!
Regarding MOAS, is this something I have to set up or will be invited to?
Do you know what the highest level of football I’d be able to assist on as a level6?
Thanks
Exactly as said. The league sorts it.Thanks, that’s really helpful!

Much appreciated - I am based in NW London with easy access to the M1/M25Exactly as said. The league sorts it.
The RA are usually a good place to ask around as they will have referees at every stage.
If you post your rough location someone here can probably point you in the right direction to a step 5/6 league.
I wouldn't expect a timely reply or much to be happening this time of year, as the season is quickly winding down.
But you'll be prepped for the start of the new season.
