    AR yesterday

Sometimes when the ball is on your side of the pitch you don’t get a very good view of both ball and line, in this situation if space permits I take a step away from line giving me a wider view, I find it really helps and you don’t feel as if play is on top of you as much. One small step back is...

    Junior/Youth Penalty Decision

I know this doesn’t answer your question but In this situation, I would definitely be looking from an input from my assistant, the assistant is going to be credible because it’s in his area of the pitch and he’s going to have a side on view which is going to be the best view out of the referee...

He might be a defender 😂🤔

    How to stop cramping!

Ensure your fitness levels are high enough to keep up a high standard of movement for the whole game AND lots of stretching beforehand, maybe even some static stretching at half time if necessary in the changing rooms

    EFL referees positioning at penalties

For anyone confused I’ve attached an image of what’s been explained. I’ve highlighted the ref in case u couldn’t see him 😂

    Anxiety about a repeat fixture

A development on this point, have you thought about explaining what happened last time to your CFA and see if they could appoint a Matchday coach to watch. I’ve done it before and if your going for promotion it can count towards that as well as far as I’m aware

    Persistent Infringement

The way I’ve operated now due to being pulled up by a coach and taking there advice, is writing on my hand. The first not great foul they commit I will write their number on my hand, if it is borderline caution I will call them over as well and instead of just writing there number I will put a...

Hi all, does anyone know the minimum age to referee on the eja league? And who would I contact to be assigned matches on this league?

    Football Suffolk/Norfolk area ( step 5-6)

Not to sure as I’m not that level but it’s maybe worth contacting Suffolk fa RDO as he is a level 3 who relocated to the area so I'm pretty sure, so I suspect he’ll know. His name is Ben bowles

    Football Suffolk/Norfolk area ( step 5-6)

Pretty sure that a level 4 can centre on Thurlow nunn and be an assistant on isthmian league north (I think) so that’ll be teams like Gorleston and Wroxham. As you get more into Suffolk you have teams like bury, Ipswich wanderers, milldenhall and Felixstowe.

    Taking a break

Maybe start with just doing 1 game a week and see how you feel then, if you still feel exhausted take a few weeks off and come back stronger.

New AR question - how to distribute your view and focus

The way I do it is; Defensive in control of ball- focus more for throw Attacking in control of ball- focus more on the offside

    Odd game with 4 pens

Don’t even think or worry about a hearing. In till your told there is one. Likely you will be asked for a statement and that will be the end of it from you side. I know my CFA try to avoid u18 referees attending hearing and collect a statement instead that is read out

    Wolves vs City

Ck was sent to the screen because it a controversial offside, meaning it is seen as “refs call” hence him being sent to screen

    Wolves vs City

I’m with you here, clear interference, for me this should have been disallowed. But I’m sure some people on here will give clearer views including lotg Edit : looking at behind goal image, I agree with var decision
