I’m a new ref and I am finding it particularly common for players to ask me how much longer ref. That’s not a problem as I will say about 10/20 mins etc. I will also get it from the coaches/managers too…. I am wondering what the thoughts are of people who have been doing this longer?

Im also on that learning curve and I would suggest joining your local RA group….they are there for support, continual training and learning from others experience. Best of luck.

Just completed my course together with my step son(15yrs) to get him going to earn some extra cash. I have been volunteering as a lino and the occasional refereeing for many years with my older son and wish I had done it sooner. We are the Sussex area on the South Coast.
