I think you could argue that when he hesitates to get back in he is now officially off the field of play and hence I would argue you fan caution for entering field play without permission. Regardless equally can caution for unsporting behaviour l, unspecified.

I have to say I would have disallowed this goal. He lurks off the pitch waiting for it. At this point, I would consider him off the pitch and he now needs my permission to come onto the pitch. At worst I would have him as general unsporting behaviour and issue a card. I could be wrong though...
