I am surprised she never saw the foul that led to the attack for the penalty, which VAR came in to help her.
It definitely has a feel of waiting for VAR to take over rather than give something.
Just watched the Konsa incident again in slow mo from behind the goal/pitch.
I still think it should have been a penalty against Konsa.
However, the slow mo he jumps in front of Adu (think it was him) and he knees/kicks Konsa which brings him down.
Dont get me wrong, its stretching. As I said...
They may be a team but the 4th official is not in the best position to give that, certainly not in a better position than the ref.
Didn't think it was a foul.
If the ref cant make a decision by himself on the field in that position then something is wrong.
Im confused.
Senaya runs across Kane and goes down.
Keeper has ball and ref plays on. He then kicks straight to Saka.
He then blows up for the injury and restarts with a free kick.
Either hes lost it or I have.
I get why you're doing this, and will complete it for you, but I must confess I don't like the term "improvements in refereeing".
This is said before doing your form by the way so apologies if this is the subject.
For me, its not necessarily improvements in refereeing that needs to happen but...
Got a question about subs and hydration breaks.
We know we have 3 sub windows per game. Making a sub at half time does not count.
What about during the forced hydration break? As the Americans keep online its quarters, not halves (tongue in cheek).
There shouldn't be one if one already occured shortly before, such as the Qatar game when the keeper was down injured pre penalty, they all grabbed a drink then.
But it wasn't the pre planned one.
Common sense would have applied and wouldn't have needed a hydration drink.
