Spectator Sent Off (with Red Card!)

Well, I say spectator.... He wasn't even there!! My next door neighbour used to manage one of the age groups of one of our local teams until they aged out this summer just gone. His son plays for a younger age group. At his sons game, apparently the game was very feisty. It was a cup game...

    Arsenal vs Chelsea

Because of training for a new job it's been on silent in "background" so not seen whole game.

    Arsenal vs Chelsea

Touche.. I meant after the have placed it on the cone they shouldn't get involved. Chelsea player went to get it for the keeper and the ball person pinched it.

    Arsenal vs Chelsea

Rice (he does it a lot when you think about it, players on attack) trips Rogers whilst trying to get into the area and gets away with it. Rogers gets cautioned for complaining about it. And also, thought ball kids are not meant to touch the ball..

    Boreham Wood v Carlisle

I probably should add, if they're on here (or not), that they are probably very decent refs and people to boot. It was just an ironic coincidence of names on the same game.

    Boreham Wood v Carlisle

Not exactly a TV moment so cant put it there but found this funny.. The 3 surnames of the officials today... Couldn't make it up either.

    Ipswich Vs Liverpool

And in the Brentford game, Bogle trod on Schades foot after the ball has gone. Very little difference. But different VAR usage. Its very silly to send him to screen but then stop him short of it to check offside. But this was to shorten delays. The delay being a few seconds at best really.

    Ipswich Vs Liverpool

Considering the high bar mentioned regarding the non giving of the Brentford penalty shout on Schade against Leeds... How did VAR get involved for the pen on Szoboszlai in comparison? I know on here most if not all.thought schade was a pen but not looked at. Only difference was the offside...

    Ipswich Vs Liverpool

Was that the one where he kicked it to his keeper knowing it's a corner but tried to play dumb?

    Liverpool v Nottm Forest

I am surprised there is no technology that can enable a mobile app/Bluetooth etc for a board. If we're now using things like Full Time/Comet etc for team sheets, then there must be a way of incorporating that too. The subs names/numbers are already there. You can press on player on/player off...

    Leeds v Brentford

I agree he may have gone easily but something seen online suggests pros, including ex ref Graham Scott, believe by not going down, theatrical or not, you're less likely to get anything. Can definitely understand why players do it. So it seems a damned if you do, damned if you don't. Even Bogle...

    Leeds v Brentford

I've deliberately delayed post to see if any one else asks the question.. Midway through second half Schade was, in my opinion, fouled by Bogle (I think i recall) in the area with Bogle treading on Schades foot. Schade has knocked ball past him and Bogle has attempted to block, missed, and...

If it is, wonder how long it'll last...

    Liverpool v Nottm Forest

Do feel for Liverpool. Been wanting to make a triple sub but thats been delayed as the 4th official is struggling with the boards. Being able to make the subs would have changed the flow of the game immediately in that no quick throw (the fact that the throw in would unlikely have happened...

    Brentford v Tottenham

With the new laws on throw ins, not sure if deliberate ploy or not, but I noticed that Collins was being a nuisance with the Tottenham players forcing Michael Oliver to stop the restart a few times to "have a word", cut it out etc.... This meant that Kayode had "extra" time to prepare for his...
