Been refereeing about 20 years now. Highlights include being AR to Dermot Gallagher for a charity event at Brentford FC, and then being the referee on 5 more occasions.
I also had an unfortunate incident in my refereeing career where I ended up in hospital after being attacked because of a bib!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-20177334
Not part of the in crowd.
Like in football, you may have an opinion that differs to someone else but if that someone has power, you'll always lose.
Nothing changes.
Cant debate without someone getting upset (at least I am an actual ref, unlike some crying members).
Cant complain about processes because they, well, have no idea what they're doing. Even hide themselves from visibility so they can pretend they've not been around for a while. Send messages to staff and they're ignored as they can't be bothered.
No doubt I'll lose privileges due to them not wanting to be called out for exactly what they are. Little Hitlers. And they even have access to whistles. I fear the players on their pitches.
