    Is this a red?

    SFP, straight red.

    'Offside' in Sunderland game

You can't get worse than that. I'd put it above ghost goal in terms of stupidity in fact. The (edit) *assistant* referee simply has to go.

    'Offside' in Sunderland game

Only popped in quickly to see if there was a thread here about this. The AR must be immediately dropped from PGMOL. No questions. Probably needs to be dropped off the national list altogether. Back to a 4 for him.

    Most costly dismissal.

Got told by 21 players and 20 spectators I'd sent the wrong guy off for calling me a "****ing fat ****". Turned out I did and his mate came up to me at the end and told me it was him. All relevant details into the CFA, don't know what happened, don't care! Was just kicking myself for doing a...

    Dissapointed

Depends what level your assessor is to be fair! I worked as security at a Ryman League club last season and season before, they have 3 middles and 4-5 lines, can't begin to tell you how many times I heard players call them "c**ts", cheats, *******s, etc etc and the ref just say "calm down fella".

    red for verbal distraction

No penalty. Distraction is not a penal offence so IDFK is correct. Now with the red it's debatable. Technically, the LOTG say a red can be given for DOGSO for any offence resulting in a DFK or IDFK. However, the law book itself gives us pretty straight instruction that distraction is a caution...

    What an idiot....

Of my cautions only one was ever for a dissent... an eleven year old me saying "really ref?" in a sarcastic tone after he gave the third penalty against us in the game, the second wrong penalty decision too. Boy did I feel mad at a yellow for "really ref?". Haha

Why is half time 18 minutes on Sky games?

Half times aren't 18 minutes, the games start at 3 o'clock, finish at 3:46-3:49 due to injury time and then recommence between 4:01-4:04. 15 minutes.

    How Was Soldado *NOT* Offside?

I haven't seen it but from the way I've had it described to me he was obstructing line of vision, which technically is preventing the ball being played/saved whatever.

    What an idiot....

You lucky SOBs!! Got sent off 4 times between U11-U12, 2 SFP and 2 DOGSO. 11 cautions too, not one ever was let go!! Must be a Kent thing :(

Replacing A CAR With *Another* CAR From The Opposite Team?

I sent off the sub (and only other person aside from the manager) for one team before for OFFINABUS, no arguments when the only volunteer that came forward was one of the spectators watching and from the home club. I let him do it and he was brilliant!

Open Age First match as AR on Supply League

Well technically you can get on the referees panel for a supply league as a 7, but you will never ever get a game. Usually 4's middle and 5-6's on the lines.

    :( Balls :(

    Play it, play it!

Open Age First match as AR on Supply League

Update your profile as I'm guessing you're a 7 now! Our supply league wouldn't dream of letting 7's loose on the line, unfortunately.

    first game - hearing probs

Just a question, you said you failed to blow for an obvious foul... why? With the whistling issue, I wouldn't worry too much. After a few games you'll probably get used to blowing softer. With parks football a loud whistle generally isn't needed except of course for potentially inflammable...
