Neither were pens. VAR are the problem, not sending thebref tot he monitor for the 2nd pen is unreal.

I think by "at the time" he means "not 2 months later". I've no doubt my county FA would take 9 months to complete on this case. A continental FA? Anything over 7 days is a joke.

No idea how anyone who has played the game can think Simons is a red but lets assume it is. I will see 30 similar tackles this season that won't be given a RC.

1. I'm very worried how much abuse the referee was willing to take before issueing a 2nd caution. 2. If I were a Hammer I'd be so mad at the THREE West Ham players who did absolutely FA to get their player (who had clearly lost his head) away from the referee.
