    New EPL headsets?

Spotted on the West ham game and games after. Haven’t seen anything about it but suspect it could be down to the ref cam when its needed? Curious if the ear piece is a separate piece now or just attached at the top. (Slow news day)

Puma Match and training kit launched.

Luckily we don’t wear that here but the pro version is actually horrible. Prefer the look of the grassroots version. The only good thing I can see is the base layer with pockets meaning there is finally a suitable alternative to the macron one

    SFA Cat 7 to 5

Cat 7 is usually 1 year. You should then be moved to cat 5 if you attend training and association meetings. You’ll then do a fitness test to progress to 4D. No fitness test is required to get to 5. (At the time of writing)

    Cards and Wallet

found this myself when removing write on stickers. Not too much of an issue as was simply being replaced with a new sticker but ive started just putting masking tape over the sticker. This saves me replacing the sticker everytime and also means any pen works as I found only power tanks worked...

    Brighton v Brentford

For me, an easy red. Especially with this point Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of...

    Aston Villa v Juventus

Could potentially also be argued hes not in control by using the law as well. Assuming we are looking at touching it with any part of the hands. Do we think the save definition is a get out? Only a referee who knows the law exact would be deeming this “control”

    PSV v Girona. Foul throw?

PSVs first goal causing some noise as the throwers foot appears to be in the field. Most fans assume this is a foul throw. I’m sure there was a thread on here before regarding the wording of the law. Does law 15 allow for this as part of the foot is on the touchline? And then if so, is it...

    RefSix Issues?

Had constant bluetooth connectivity problemd lately with apple watch. Only when trying to download a match to start. Have to go to troubleshooting and send a test result first before it syncs.

    Recording cautions etc…

Refsix for goals. I use card stickers on the yellow to record and then transfer it at ht/ft. (Ignore the handwriting)

    Sept 27-28 Premier League discussion

Fernandes not a red for me. Doesn’t endanger the opponent nor is it excessive.

    Socks!

We technically don’t either. Black shorts and socks here too. A few grassroots ref will wear coloured socks when suits as its not an issue on the amateur level

    Stranraer v East Fife

definitely looks like the referee has been flustered and not helped by the assistant. As already mentioned, it has to be idfk for the double touch and no sanction or dogso red and dfk. Referee has gotten law/restart mixed up. Not a good look for a category 1 official but sure it has or will...
