Player calls an Irish opponent 'Paddy'

Nationality is indeed included under race in the protected characteristics in the Equality Act, as well as been explicitly mentioned in FA Rules E3.2 and E4. If you believe that the player meant it as an insult, or the opponent has been insulted/offended by it (even if it wasn't intended to be...

Man United Vs Leeds - Hair Pulling

I think any hair pulling incident is going to be deliberate - I can't see how someone can accidentally pull someone's hair. If you attempt to pull their shirt, for example, but grab their hair - you have still deliberately pulled them by the hair. It doesn't need to be sustained, it just has to...

Man United Vs Leeds - Hair Pulling

    Negligible force, IMO.

    Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa

With the benefit of a still frame, it looks offside to me. Assuming that's the AR's flag we can just see on the left edge of the picture, the AR looks like they are at least two yards deeper than they should be, which would have made the attacker look even further offside (if indeed he was offside).

Number of game at level 4

6 or 7 lines a month?! 😳 I've gone through and worked out my monthly averages for each season I was active at L4 - only ever happened twice that I had five lines in one month, same goes for middles. RefAR 16/172.671.89 17/182.443 18/192.222.56 19/20 (+20/21)2.32.3 21/222.671.67...

Number of game at level 4

I'd say 22 middles is probably above average at the moment. Most of the currently active 4s I speak to have said they're getting fewer middles last season and this season than they were previously - quite often they're only getting one a month.

Do you mean middles, lines, or both?

    Real Madrid v Girona

We had an homage to that one back in 2013 🤣 (thankfully the short shorts have been consigned to history...)

Based on the Adidas kit from circa WC '94 I think.

Martinelli incident - Southampton vs Arsenal FA Cup QF

I'd wholeheartedly disagree with you. Had it been at grassroots level, Mitrovic would have had a minimum 112 days' suspension (would be a minimum 182 days if it happened now). It's ridiculously lenient. Yet, as always, the professionals get treated softer.

Martinelli incident - Southampton vs Arsenal FA Cup QF

Sadly this (and the associated sanction range) is only applicable at Step 5 and below, hence the (IMO) lenient 8 matches that Mitrovic got a couple of years ago.

    Have you ever ...

To the best of my recollection, I've never gone to the wrong ground or turned up on the wrong day (yet, anyway...), but: - I've had an AR arrive at 1:57 for a 2:00 ko (long injury delay in his morning game) - Had the ref arrive at 7:30 for a 7:45 ko (traffic) in the first month of my first...

Martinelli incident - Southampton vs Arsenal FA Cup QF

Would it though? Out of everything I've seen posted online about it so far, it certainly appears that "football expects" a red card here - the only ones arguing against a red seem to be a minority of referees.
