WEEK 27 REVIEW

Hey all - have tried to do this on the fly using my phone, but am 95% sure everything is correct and formatted. Haven't updated the stats yet but this league table should be accurate. As ever, point out anything I've mistyped, missed, or messed-up and I'll file your complaint in the bin check and rectify the error ASAP.

Mixed bag for the Irish season opener, and only Holby went for the home win, with the rest of us split between the cowardly draw and the gut-feeling away win. Match two saw Liverpool duly deliver a home win (and Mo Salah scored a penalty to keep a lot of you happy in the bonus game). No one had the 2-1 score correct though, so everyone scored +5 points with the exception of Holby (+4) who saved his five-pointer for the Italian match (more on that later), and James who risked -1 on a Wolves smash 'n' grab.

Vienna derby was split between a home win (which it was) and a draw. Rapid couldn't upset their cross-city rivals and three players hit the only trebles of the week. +12 points for Essers, and +9 for One and Josh for the 2-1 Austria Wien win. In match four Spurs didn't Do-A-Spurs, while United Did-A-United and some minor points were handed out. That left YET ANOTHER INTER MATCH (sorry not sorry), which they went and lost 0-1 at Juventus which saw Holby Do-A-Spurs as most of us had given-up by that point and gone for a 1-1 draw. Ste missed the week unfortunately, but the only change in the table was ES1 leapfrogging Gabriel into the top four with the week's best score.

In the rest of the bonus picks - remember it was a binary WILL THEY SCORE ON SUNDAY pick. +5 if they do, 0 if they don't. Salah already mentioned above (half of you picked him), didn't watch it but Spurs kept Maguire and MUFC at bay, Cerny scored for Rangers in a win at Hearts, the two picks in women's matches both found the back of the net (Khadija Shaw bagged a brace, actually), and muggins here plumped for Eintracht Frankfurt's top scorer Hugo Ekitike who went and missed a penalty in first-half stoppage time.

Right. Could I do like 2/3/4 different teams to win and then over 2 corners in a game?? Would that satisfy the overlord?

Bet approved! Odds: 19/5
for clarity, in this case as an example, what bonus points would refx get if he gets it right, (or one/both predictions wrong)?

Also, can I bank part of my points and bet the rest?

24 if both bits come in. His bet is 5, which he’d get back for the winning (all or nothing).

And no to the second bit, here’s 5 free points to bank OR bet. (I quite like this though… might adapt for a future bonus)

So long as there is proper handover from the previous account owner to you then no worries at all. I am sure you will do a much better job than the previous account owner 😉 😜 (jokes... no points penalties please)
