Hi, my son is completing his course in North Wales but we are in Liverpool.

Does this make any difference as long as he registers with Liverpool County FA when he completes the training?

It doesn’t matter where you do it your local FA goes on where you live. I did mine jn Lincolnshire but my local FA is Nottinghamshire. Hope that helps

Not sure that holds true for cross country borders... best bet will be to speak to the Welsh (regional?) FA and the Liverpool FA referee development officer. There will likely need to be a reassignment of the registration between FA.
Not sure it's an international clearance issue, but it is definitely a different national fa issue..
1 thing being between differing counties but different countries...

I think it's easier in terms of the level of referee your child will start at, as opposed to a referee of a higher level moving between national FAs (think Jarred Gilett and Bobby Madden).
