Semi final AR - First time

I'm in the same position. 2 different semi-final appointments for two leagues. Both will be my first and second ever AR appointment.
 
Read up on your signals before the game and if you can go and watch a step 5/6 gameand watch what the ARs are doing and how they are moving etc. Look what hand they are holding the flag in and how/when that changes etc.

. . . and if time permits run a line for a local Sunday morning club to get the feel of doing so . . .

Absolutely.

I remember my first ever game 6 years ago. I was on the line. Literally spent an hour looking over signals on the Internet the morning before and went to watch a County gane on the Wednesday night just to watch the ARs.
