Ref reporting

Some games seem to be logged on FA site on whole game system and some on FA site under full time. Is there 2 different ways to log depending on which league the game is in?

Usually games are on Full Time I find. Whole Game I use to add any matches where cards issued or report needed.

Whole Game System is for the reporting of misconduct and disciplinary sanctions (cautions, dismissals). This is a must in an incidence of misconduct.

Where Full Time is used for reporting, it's generally for results and player statistics.

Great thanks. So if no misconduct or cards no action on whole game needed?

It’s best to record on the Whole Game irrespective. That way you can put on record that there was no misconduct in the match and avoid being chased by local FA for clarification.

It also confirms to them powers that be, that you did fulfil your appointment(s).

Fair enough Tealeaf, I personally don't put on WGS unless there's anything to report but each to their own.

Nor me. I think the official advice is you don't need to add games to WGS if there has been no discipline issues to report, but no harm in doing so.
