Poor challenge by Brighton player on QPR's Faurlin last night resulted in 2nd yellow card and dismissal.
Red card challenge for me, but noticed that very rarely, if ever, at the top levels do referees issue a straight red card if a player is on a yellow.
Seems a bit of a cop out to me - avoids any possibility of an appeal but means player misses only 1 game instead of 3 (in this case)
Thoughts?
Also Rob Green kept up his fine tradition of wearing same colour as officials last night, least said about Brighton's 2nd goal as far as he is concerned the better though!
