Had match tonight 18.30 k.o. spoke to manager this morning, he told me waiting on a pitch inspection.
Get a text message through at 16.00 match off, so settle down to watch Paw Patrol with my son and 17.00 gets another text from fixtures secretary asking if i could do a Youth Match at 18.30 at the same ground as my cancelled one. So i queried it and there are two pitches Open Age and Youth.
So i get kitted up(not boots) leave at 17.20 for a 25 minute journey in rush hour traffic.
I get there at 17.55 and no-one there
Suddenly everybody appears like a mini rush hour, kick off on time at 18.30 good old end to end footie with the home team winning 6-0. Two YC's dissent and USB (FT)
