Ladies First time at a ground

Happy new year all!

One of the teams I referee regularly have moved into the stadium that their men's team plays in (Step 7 men's, county level women's).

Previously I've been reffing games in parks and fields and whilst I'm not expecting a huge change in terms of fans or process on the day (No ARs for example), I'd appreciate any things you'd wish you'd know or tips!

I think the main thing here is to plan your journey and arrive with plenty of time to familiarise with the ground and all the facilities.

Hardly any differences of note if it is men's step 7.
Just treat the game in exactly the same way as you have until now.

If it’s a stadium rather than park or village pitch it may be larger than you’re used to. That’s the main change I encountered when doing games like this.

Biggest ground I have done a game in recently (apart from the new Spurs Stadium and Wembley) was here at Widnes - where I was also mic'd up to the stadium for the 2nd one - which was interesting:
