I was just wondering whether anyone thinks any changes will come about within the next 5-10 years due to increasing scrutiny on referees? For example, with the money in the game seeming to increase every year, does anyone think referees wages could increase in years to come? Or what about the press? Does anyone think that there's any chance referee's will ever be allowed a post match interview to explain their key decisions?

Depends how long Mike Riley stays head of the PGMOL. If he steps down I think we might eventually see a human side to referees, until then no chance of any changes.
