1) Gets text from fixtures manager Monday " can you do line Wednesday night" and i say "yes"
2) Message from referee Tuesday confirming k.o. and time of arrival at ground...... so far so good
3) Gets text from fixtures manager Wednesday " Game off "
Matches up and coming Thursday evening,Saturday and Sunday but not holding my breath..
And yes......... kit still clean hung up in cupboard, and boots clean and dubbed in bag
