Yellow Card for Van Persie...no Yellow Card for Crouch?

I saw Van Persie get a yellow card for having a shot on goal after the whistle had been blown in the Arsenal v Barcelona game on Tuesday night. The following night Spurs v AC Milan I saw the exact same thing with Peter Crouch shooting at goal after the refs whistle had blown...no action taken?....your thoughts please Gents.
