Worst abuse and threats I have ever received.

Just an update I received from one of the clubs. Apparently the player that threatened me and threw the ball at me has been banned for 3 years.

That is harsh for an u18, but at the same time…….he threatened to punch me and threw the ball at my face.

I’ll wait for confirmation from the FA on the sanctions.

Depending on the practice in your CFA, you may or may not be advised of the sanctions. Many CFA's do not advise as a matter of course, on the basis you have done your bit, and the outcome is not an issue for the referee's involvement.

I have contacted them and did get a reply. 3 year suspension and the club fined.
