U11 Cup QF this morning. Long ball played over the top to red striker. Keeper comes out and striker hesitates. Striker then hooks it to a blue player (awful touch) but the keeper absolutely clatters him.

Free kick, edge of the box. Then comes the good bit. Keeper goes down and manager runs on, claiming that it couldn't be a free kick because it was his player that was injured.

Managers, eh...

I had w good one like that last week. Corner to blues, as ball is in the air, blue player obviously shoves red defender. As I blow for the FK the ball goes in. Cue a few more whistle blasts from me and explanation of the no goal. After the game the wizzened old CAR tells me that I should have allowed the goal as the ball had gone directly into the goal. I can't disallow the goal for s FK if the ball goes directly into the goal! I shall have to remember that for the next time.
