Hey everyone,

You will get a variety of answers.
My opinion is "Have a good game" or similar to the manager/coach, nothing else needed.
Captains - "If any of your players are getting close to trouble, I may ask you to help" (or similar)
Players - nothing.
Club assistants - look on the FA website under "Briefing club assistants" and adapt that list to your style of speaking.
Hope that helps.

I would add for the managers "For substitutions, please wait until I signal for them to come on."

I usually ask the managers if they have any questions first. Makes a chance from the same old stuff they get every match - I then say something like keep the benches tidy, subs let me know, and if you need to speak to me about anything give me 15 minutes after the game I’m more than happy to chat (that’s one of our league rules).

Club assistants:
Left back, please do ball out of play and offsides, leave everything else to me.

Captains:
Any questions - keep it short and sharp if you need to talk to me, I will try and use you if I can so work with me. Toss.

Club assistants - in and out of play and offsides, I'll do the rest.

Captains - deal with players before I have to and focus on the game and that will let me focus on it too. Heads or tails?

Managers - Unless I'm this close again the only thing I want to hear shouted is "Sub"
