Subs

I have my first game tomorrow after a long hiatus.

I have been reading around a bit and it appears that getting the subs names is something we are expected to do at Sunday league level know also? Do we then get the sub to come to us and give their name when they come on only allowing named subs?

In all honesty (whether through lack of knowledge or instruction) I never used to do that for my park games.

Get the subs names as you may have to submit a teamsheet to the league with subs used.

My advice for the substitution is, get yourself over there. Don't allow the sub on til the other player has gone off.

I find Sunday football a nightmare in regards to substitutions, on the sunday league im on they shout for the sub and just come running on when i run over and also dont bother with team sheets or submit names to me before the game .

It comes as part of my talk to the managers. Subs WILL be at the half way line. Any player coming on without my permission will be cautioned. They learn pretty quickly
