Referee assault - at least some punishment!

The justice system has produced a financial penalty for an assault. Would be interesting to fine out what the CFA did?

Possibly had a strong word with him, and then apologised for being mean

I was on the line for this referee at a game not too long ago, first time I met him, I recall he wasn't very talkative really but didn't know about this incident and my line was after the incident so I'm now wondering if that had something to do with the quietness.

I did hear about the incident when I was running another another line at Belper Town, but didn't clock it was the same ref.

I'm glad the player has got into trouble for his actions, no place for it on the field of play, or anywhere for that matter.

On a side note, Belper Town looked like they'd built a swimming pool on site recently.

I don't know if it's dried out yet.

Interesting thing in that; If you have a case ongoing, don't comment about it as they'll try and use it to appeal/lower the sentence if they can.
