Red Card report and advice on

on the 89th minute home player pulls down away player on the half way line with about 10 seconds left to go. during the incident the away player according to the home players had used his elbows. However whilst on the floor after i had awarded the free kick to the away team. whilst on the ground following the apparent elbow which i missed the home player kicked out violently at the back of away player. I send off home player for violent conduct and caution away adopting an aggressive attuitude as i felt i couldnt give a red but felt that his actions led to the kick out.

A did i do the right thing? and would the above be ok for the red card report

Ok what did you see the away player do that you felt needed a caution?

Sounds like you got the red card spot on for the home player.

the number 8 fell on the home player and i felt that whilst he was on the floor he pushed the away play pushed him in frustration with the foul. so i had it down as adopting an aggressive attitude
